About this event

This is the 2026 edition of the DKSJ All Star Project, an annual project bringing together the five jazz departments of Swiss music academies. Two students from each academy are selected to form a temporary orchestra. The ensemble rehearses for two intensive days and then undertakes a five-concert tour through Luzern, Zürich, Lausanne, Bern, and Basel. For the 2026 edition, Olivia Trummer participates as pianist and vocalist. The production is organized around the title “SONGBOOK”; selected original compositions are newly arranged in connection with her 20-year recording anniversary. The artistic approach reopens Trummer’s existing oeuvre to new interpretations, perspectives, and collaborations. The ensemble combines instrumental and vocal colors. No director, conductor, stage designer, costume designer, lighting designer, choreographer, set, or staging concept is named.
