About this event
The event is the November 2026 iteration of The Opera Buffs Inc.'s Artists of the Future Competition. The competition showcases classical singers aged 16–22 from select Southern California counties. It takes place in Murphy Recital Hall at Loyola Marymount University and is presented as a public vocal competition rather than a named opera staging. The audience can vote for an Audience Choice Award, and competitors are eligible to compete for up to $10,000 in cash prizes.
