Zingdag Zeeland – Zeeuwse Concertzaal, Middelburg

Zingdag Zeeland is a one-day participatory choral event organized by the Nederlands Kamerkoor. It brings together amateur singers and choirs from the region with singers from the Nederlands Kamerkoor for a day focused on choral singing, learning, and connection. The 2026 edition is the first in Middelburg. The format is workshop-led rather than staged: NKK singers guide participants in ensemble singing, vocal use, breathing, tone color, and blend. The day runs from 10:30 to 18:00 and culminates in a joint public presentation at 17:00. Family, friends and interested visitors can attend the presentation free of charge. Coffee and tea are included in the €60 participation price. No conductor, stage, set, costume or lighting concept is specified; the defining element is the participatory model where regional amateur voices work alongside professional choir singers.
