KUG presents a sound-performative approach to farewell. The title, repeated as an exclamation, signals both leave-taking and a call to safeguard the Earth’s well‑being. Within this conceptual frame, the program weaves text, song, chamber music, choral repertoire, and an arranged concerto: Else Lasker‑Schüler’s Weltende opens the evening, followed by Schubert (D 829; D 531), Scelsi’s Un Adieu, Crumb’s Black Angels for amplified string quartet, Hildegard von Bingen’s O vos angeli, Brahms’s Vier ernste Gesänge, Bach’s Es ist genug (from BWV 60), and Berg’s Violin Concerto in Wolfgang Abendroth’s arrangement. The production belongs to KUG’s “Seite an Seite” format, where teachers and students perform together, and it embeds KUG’s sustainability goals aligned with the UN SDGs, Klima‑Pakt Graz, and a climate‑neutral objective by 2035.
