About this event
Presented as the closing production of the 23rd Daegu International Opera Festival, Mi-in is a Daegu Opera House creation-opera project composed by Jin Young-min. Current 2026 materials describe it as the second completed work in the house’s creation-opera development program. The opera draws inspiration from the paintings of late Joseon-era artist Shin Yun-bok, adding imagination to the figures in his works so that their lives, emotions, and relationships unfold on stage.
