About this event

A single-evening Mozart program in concert form brings together violinist Isabelle Faust, director and fortepiano/continuo leader Kristian Bezuidenhout, and the Kammerorchester Basel. Presented by the City of Friedrichshafen’s Kulturbüro, the event contrasts chamber intimacy with orchestral breadth. It opens with the Sonata for Violin and Fortepiano in G major, moves to the Violin Concerto No. 2 and the Rondo for Violin and Orchestra, and culminates in Symphony No. 40 in G minor. Bezuidenhout is described as leading from the fortepiano in historically informed style. The performance takes place in the Hugo-Eckener-Saal of the Graf-Zeppelin-Haus. No staging or theatrical design elements are indicated: this is an instrumental concert, not a staged production.
