About this event
This is a symphonic concert. The Debrecen-based Kodály Philharmonic performs under conductor Imre Kollár, with Alexáné Kardos Ildikó (violin) and Gábor Bicskey (oboe) as soloists. The program opens with Haydn’s Symphony No. 100 in G major (“Military”), linked to his second English trip and noted for colorful orchestration, percussion, and a trumpet solo. It continues with Bach’s BWV 1060R, the reconstructed double concerto for oboe and violin, and closes with Schumann’s Symphony No. 2 in C major, Op. 61. No theatrical staging elements (direction, sets, costumes, lighting) are indicated for this concert.
