An unstaged chamber concert presented by the University Mozarteum brings students together with Roberto González-Monjas and members of the Mozarteum Orchestra’s academy for a focused dialogue between Fanny Hensel and her brother Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. The program highlights stylistic variety, expressive character, and musical kinship through two pairs of works: piano trios followed by string quartets. The evening places Felix’s C-minor Piano Trio alongside Fanny’s D-minor Piano Trio, then contrasts Felix’s A-minor String Quartet with Fanny’s E-flat-major String Quartet. Performed in the Ferstl Saal at the Orchesterhaus, the concert runs from 18:00 to 20:30 and is part of the HEIMSPIEL chamber-music series within a broader Fanny Hensel focus.
