About this event

The Sound of James Bond is a large-scale film-music concert that brings the iconic James Bond soundtrack catalogue—from the 1960s to the 2020s—to the stage of the Berlin Philharmonie. Presented as a guest production by Konzertdirektion Hans Adler, the program features title songs and instrumental soundtrack excerpts from a curated selection of Bond films across six decades. The Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg performs as the orchestra, joined by a band and two vocal soloists. John Jesensky conducts, with Tertia Botha and Dennis LeGree taking the vocal numbers. The evening is hosted in German by Dietmar Wunder, the German dubbing voice of Daniel Craig, who provides anecdotes and context between the musical pieces.
