About this event
A touring school concert built around Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, Op. 67, performed by Neue Philharmonie Westfalen with a narrator. Over six November 2026 dates in different Ruhr region cities, the 45-minute, interval-free program introduces orchestral instruments by assigning each story character a distinct musical color. The cat is heard in the clarinet, the grandfather in the bassoon, the birds in high woodwinds, and trumpets and timpani mark dramatic moments.
