About this event

A single, non-staged gala concert presented by Japan Arts to mark the organization’s 50th anniversary on 1 October 2026. The program is in two parts: Part 1 reflects on 50 years of Japan Arts through chamber music, piano arrangements, vocal and operatic excerpts, and a ballet excerpt; Part 2 focuses on coexistence through music and hopes for future peace, combining works by Escande (dedicated to Izumi Tateno), jazz, a Baroque arrangement, chamber movements, selected Brahms Liebeslieder-Walzer, a Puccini duet, and a five‑piano finale. No conductor, orchestra, or production design team is credited; a large roster of instrumentalists and singers is listed. Megumi Yoshimoto serves as MC and Oko Arai is responsible for the program structure. Part of the ticket proceeds is donated to Save the Children Japan and the Japanese Red Cross.
