About this event
An orchestral concert by The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen featuring conductor Omer Meir Wellber and violinist Hilary Hahn. The two Bremen dates are presented within the orchestra’s subscription series—5 November as the 7th First Night concert and 6 November as the 4th Highlight concert. The shared program combines Mozart’s Don Giovanni Overture and Violin Concerto No. 5 with Aziza Sadikova’s new concerto Labyrinthe du temps for violin, accordion, and orchestra, and Schumann’s Symphony No. 4. The concert is part of a multi-year collaboration in which Hilary Hahn and the orchestra perform and record one Mozart violin concerto each year. Wellber, a returning artistic partner, conducts and also appears as accordion soloist in the Sadikova work.
