La Jolla Music Society presents Serbian-born, Paris-based violinist Nemanja Radulović and his chamber ensemble Double Sens in a program built around two pillars of the violin repertoire: Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade. Radulović leads from the violin with the ensemble he founded to reflect his dual Serbian–French identity, bringing together trusted Serbian and French musicians united by friendship and a shared pursuit of expressive freedom. Performing without a conventional conductor, the group highlights the conversational, dance-like character of Vivaldi’s concertos and the color-rich storytelling of Rimsky-Korsakov’s tone poem. A free 6:30 PM prelude in The JAI offers context and conversation before the 7:30 PM concert in the Baker-Baum Concert Hall.
