About this event

Season 2026 concert by the Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra (OFB) at the León de Greiff Auditorium of the National University of Colombia in Bogota. The program pairs two core classical–romantic works: Mozart’s Sinfonia concertante for violin and viola (1779) and Sibelius’s Symphony No. 5 in E-flat major, Op. 82 (1914–15; final version 1919). Guest conductor Earl Lee (Canada–South Korea), Music Director of the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra and former Assistant Conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, leads the concert. Soloists are violinist Pablo Hurtado and violist Raúl García, both members of the Bogota Philharmonic. The León de Greiff Auditorium has been the OFB’s principal home for over four decades, thanks to a long-standing partnership with the National University. Admission to OFB concerts at this venue is traditionally free until capacity is reached; the official announcement did not specify ticketing for this particular date.
