A new ballet by director and choreographer Jacek Tyski set to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Requiem in D minor, K. 626. One of Mozart’s greatest sacred works and his final, unfinished composition, the Requiem was completed from the composer’s materials by Joseph Eybler and Franz Xaver Süssmayr. Deeply rooted in Christian tradition, the score becomes the language of dance in this production. With soloists, the Krakow Opera Choir and Orchestra, the performance invites contemplation on life and death. Movement, light, and music shape a reflective journey rather than a literal narrative, opening a space for meditation and collective experience.
