Zavolejte Jeevese is a theatrical adaptation of P. G. Wodehouse’s humorous novel The Mating Season (Czech translation Jitřní zpěvy by Milan Žáček), adapted for the stage by Olga Šubrtová and directed by Martina Schlegelová. The production has been a staple at Jihočeské divadlo since its premiere on March 6, 2015, and is now entering its final farewell season (Poslední sezóna 2026/2027). It leans into Wodehouse’s sharp British wit and situational comedy, drawing playful parallels to the beloved Czech figure Saturnin, himself inspired by Jeeves. The creative team features set design by Jana Špalová, costumes by Aneta Grňáková, and projections by Jiří Rouš (3dsense).
