The fascination of stacking things connects many people. What makes a good base? How can things support each other? And when might they even become steps toward the unattainable? In stacking, nothing is impossible: we challenge balance and grow beyond ourselves. We take every risk. And when gravity wins, we start again! Having delighted the youngest audiences with Fliegen lernen and War da was? during her time leading the Young Staatstheater, Heiner returns to direct Stapeln, exploring with two actors—curiously, adventurously, and almost without words—the thrill of stacking.
