Ferien-Inseln (“Holiday Islands”) is a series of single-day theatre laboratories for children and adolescents during the autumn school break at Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe. The workshops are designed for young people who want a first taste of theatre life: participants attend rehearsals, try short acting exercises, or make music together. Admission is free; registration by email is encouraged. Workshop 1 (ages 10–14) focuses on sounds and music around the ballet Cinderella and takes place in the Lower Foyer; Workshop 2 (ages 7–12) offers open-ended storytelling, with the exact venue confirmed upon registration.
