About this event

The Little Mozart – Halloween Edition is a narrated concert designed for families and children, presented by the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto within the "Families & Kids 2026" programme and the series "In viaggio verso Mozart 2026 – Like Father, Like Son," with which the OPV Foundation celebrates the 275th anniversary of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s sister “Nannerl” (Maria Anna Mozart, 1751–1829). The show tells, in the form of a modern fairy tale, the extraordinary European journey of young Wolfgang Amadeus and his sister Nannerl, before she was told that despite her talent and passion she could not continue as a musician. The narration interweaves with live performances of two of the Salzburg composer’s most famous orchestral pages: the Overture to The Marriage of Figaro and the Symphony No. 41 in C major, K. 551 “Jupiter.”
