The concert on 29 October 2026 in Padua (Auditorium Pollini) opens the Orchestra of Padua and the Veneto’s 2026/2027 concert season “archetypes”, with a program pairing an anthology of music by Giovanni Gabrieli in an orchestral transcription by Claudio Ambrosini (an OPV commission, world premiere), Maurice Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major with Angela Hewitt as soloist, and Igor Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring in the McPhee version. Conducted by Marco Angius. The evening is part of the season’s “CICLO COMPLETO PARZIALE BLU PARZIALE VERDE” offer.
