About this event
An open-air choral spectacle in the castle courtyard of Schloss Ettlingen: Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana resounds with themes of love, passion, fate, and transience. More than 100 voices from the Bürger- und Kinderchor join gifted soloists and the Ettlinger Chamber Orchestra to unleash the work’s visceral power in the Schlosshof. The thunderous opening chorus “O Fortuna” crowns the evening’s sonic drama. The 5 July performance marks the culmination of eight years of dedicated choral work. Presented by Stadt Ettlingen as part of the Schlossfestspiele Ettlingen 2026.
