This staging is a revival of the production first premiered at Theater Heidelberg on 29 November 2024, returning in autumn 2026 with additional performances around New Year’s. It is presented on Zwinger Stage 1, the theatre’s smaller venue. Scenic and costume design are by Eugenia Leis, direction by Corinna Reichle. Musical direction is by Jochen Seiterle, with dramaturgy by Jürgen Popig. Recommended for ages 14 and up. A content note advises that two murders are depicted on stage, a dead body appears, and stage blood is used in one scene; the topic of suicide is addressed in the text. These advisories are communicated alongside the performances. Set and costumes are produced in the workshops of Theater und Orchester Heidelberg. For the 2026 revival, the role of Freddie/Roverini is still listed as TBA (N. N.); all other roles from the original cast remain in place.
