The Odyssey (XS) is a world-premiere play by Felix Krakau, inspired by Homer. Conceived as a compact two-hander, the production places the epic entirely in the hands of two actors. Krakau serves both as author and director. Scenic and costume design are created by Ansgar Pruewer; the musical layer is by Timo Hein, with lighting by Simone Kalt. Dramaturgy is provided by David Benjamin Brueckel and Lovis Fricke, and audience/education outreach is led by Lisa Zollner. Staged in Theater Heidelberg’s Marguerre-Saal (age recommendation 14+), it opens the theatre’s 2026/27 drama season with its premiere on 11 October 2026.
