NeckarGanga is a German–Indian intercultural ensemble founded in Mannheim in 2015. Its name fuses the Neckar River and the Ganges (Ganga), reflecting the group’s mission to connect Indian classical music with European jazz. The line-up combines sitar and tabla with saxophone/clarinet, percussion, double/electric bass, and since 2024, guitar. The music moves between contemplative, chamber-like dialogues and powerful, groove-driven passages. This Ettlingen concert, presented during the Intercultural Week in cooperation with BeLa BegegnungsLaden, highlights new repertoire around the double album "Sat Saath" (summer 2026). The event takes place in the historic Epernaysaal at Schloss Ettlingen; Indian food and drinks complement the evening’s cultural exchange. The performance is a concert without staging, choreography, or spoken text.
