“Gerd Dudenhöffer plays Heinz Becker – DOD – Life is the End” is a solo piece staged as theatrical “cabaret noir,” focusing on one performer in a minimalist black-and-white kitchen set. Straddling theater and cabaret, the evening centers on the character’s reckoning with loss. The Wuppertal performance on 10 October 2026 is part of a broader German tour. With no scene or prop changes, direction and lighting emphasize the character’s inner journey. This is an updated version of the program first presented in 2019.
