Central Alive: Ich Denke Niemals Nicht An Dich – Grillo Theater, Essenbach

Central Alive is Schauspiel Essen’s format for newly developed dramatic writing. Each edition of the series premieres a short original piece in the intimate Café Central space inside the Grillo-Theater, opposite the main Aalto-Musiktheater on Theaterplatz in Essen. The “Ich denke niemals nicht an dich” edition belongs to the 2026/27 season run of the series, continuing Schauspiel Essen’s commitment to staging new dramatic texts at close range to audiences. The Café Central functions as a small studio-type venue within the Grillo-Theater complex and is used by Schauspiel Essen for experimental and contemporary work, complementing the larger stages of the Aalto-Musiktheater and the main hall of the Grillo-Theater.
