Abo-Spezial is a subscription benefit from Theater und Philharmonie Essen (TUP) offering subscribers monthly exclusive experiences. The October 2026 edition is a rehearsal visit (Probenbesuch) to the concert “Takeover! by Miki.” Festplatz (“festival seat”) subscribers are invited to attend a working rehearsal and observe the evening’s artists making final preparations for the public concert. The group meets at “Philharmonie Essen, Eingang Stadtgarten” (Stadtgarten entrance) and is then accompanied to the rehearsal space. Access is by free ticket only, issued via TUP box offices upon presentation of a subscription customer number, or as an e-ticket by email. The event is barrier-free, limited to 50 participants, and capped at one complimentary ticket per subscription.
