12e Jaarlijkse Chanoekaconcert – Vrijheid! – Het Concertgebouw, Amsterdam

About this event

This is a concert and Hanukkah observance presented in the Grote Zaal of Het Concertgebouw. On the second evening of Hanukkah, the audience and performers jointly light the chanoekia, the traditional eight-branched candelabrum, on stage. The lighting is followed by a varied musical program involving the Jewish Amsterdam Chamber Ensemble and international guest musicians. The artistic theme is freedom, explored through resilience, identity, culture, and hope. The event welcomes Jewish and non-Jewish visitors and includes Hanukkah refreshments and kosher wine.
