The Christmas school concert is presented by the MDR Children's Choir together with the Leipzig Symphony Orchestra. Under the musical direction of Alexander Schmitt, traditional carols, beloved classics and enchanting melodies from Germany and around the world will be heard. Aimed primarily at school classes and young listeners, the concert offers a festive start to the Advent season.
