New Village Arts presents Shaina Taub’s musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s As You Like It on the Ray Charles Stage as part of its 25th Anniversary Season. Directed by Founder and Executive Artistic Director Kristianne Kurner, this staged production reimagines the Forest of Arden as a vibrant folk-pop world where exiles, lovers, fools, and dreamers find community and self-discovery. Adapted by Taub and Laurie Woolery with music and lyrics by Taub, the show celebrates identity and belonging in a brisk 90-minute format, with performances scheduled through late November 2026.
