About this event

This staging presents Georg Kreisler’s Heute Abend: Lola Blau on Theater Basel’s Kleine Bühne. Delia Mayer—recently acclaimed at Theater Basel in the title role of Lady in the Dark and as the Witch in Into the Woods—devotes herself to Kreisler’s biting, precisely targeted cabaret songs, which together shape a touching one-woman musical. Direction is by Tilman aus dem Siepen in a scenically arranged production. The team includes Marion Andrea Menziger (set), Charlotte Christen (costumes), Rodrigo Melendez-Aquino (video design), Cornelius Bohn (sound design), Roland Heid (lighting), and Meret Kündig (dramaturgy). Piano accompaniment is provided by Thomas Wise. The production originally premiered on 21 February 2026 on the Kleine Bühne and is revived from 4 October 2026.
