Opera Pub at The Drunken Chefs is an informal opera concert format produced by Opera Østfold at the bar/restaurant The Drunken Chefs in central Halden. The evening offers big emotions, beautiful melodies and powerful arias in a relaxed setting, with a small group of soloists and musicians performing arias and duets—repertoire chosen by the singers themselves. Guests find a seat, may order food and drink, and pay the NOK 150 entry fee via Vipps upon arrival. This is not a staged opera, but an intimate concert format without sets or costumes that brings audiences up close to opera in an easygoing atmosphere.
