About this event
In 2026, the Voix Nouvelles competition returns for its 6th edition to showcase tomorrow’s lyric talents, led by Génération Opéra and chaired by Louis Langrée, Director of the Opéra-Comique. Founded in 1988 (by CFPL—now Génération Opéra—and the France-Télécom Foundation—now Fondation Orange), the competition has launched internationally renowned artists including Natalie Dessay, Karine Deshayes, Stéphane Degout, Eva Zaïcik, and Lauranne Oliva. The 2027 edition unfolds in stages: regional selections and finals from 21 October 2026 to 31 March 2027, the national semi-final on 4–5 May 2027 at Opéra de Massy, and the national final on 30 October 2027 at Théâtre du Châtelet. The Brittany regional final at Opéra de Rennes (23 October 2026) is one of these stages and is free to attend with advance reservation.
