About this event
Guest performance in the Kammermusiksaal of the Philharmonie Berlin featuring countertenor Philippe Jaroussky with his period-instrument Ensemble Artaserse. The curated recital programme “Il mio Vivaldi” is devoted to Antonio Vivaldi’s vocal writing and pairs two sacred pillars—Stabat mater (RV 621) and Nisi Dominus (RV 608, with the famed “Cum dederit”)—with a group of operatic arias. Presented as a chamber concert without staging or theatrical production credits, the focus is on Jaroussky’s interpretive voice and the ensemble sound Artaserse has refined since its founding in 2002. The concert is promoted by Konzertdirektion Hans Adler and hosted at the Philharmonie Berlin.
