About this event
Guest performance in the Chamber Music Hall (Kammermusiksaal) of the Philharmonie Berlin presented by New Berlin Konzerte GmbH as part of Cécile McLorin Salvant’s German tour “Oh Snap – Germany 2026.” The intimate jazz-vocal concert features Salvant with her long-time quartet: Sullivan Fortner (piano), Yasushi Nakamura (bass), and Kyle Poole (drums). The set draws primarily from Salvant’s 2025 Nonesuch album Oh Snap, which blends country, jazz, baroque, and folk colors with a contemporary edge. The album was produced by Salvant and co-produced by Jack DeBoe, and recorded largely with the same quartet heard in Berlin. Tickets are handled via Eventim and partner platforms; the Berliner Philharmoniker serves as venue host only. The concert highlights Salvant’s reputation as an artist with a timeless voice and forward-looking imagination.
