Mondeis (4+) is a children's theatre production by Junges Nationaltheater Mannheim based on the picture book by Korean author-illustrator Baek Hee Na, winner of the 2020 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award. Directed by Ulrike Stöck, with set and costumes by Jola Bardo and dramaturgy by Annalena Küspert, the 45-minute intermission-free solo piece is performed by Theo Teichmann. It blends storytelling, music, and glowing imagery inspired by the book’s cinematic illustrations. The production appears across Junges NTM venues, including Studio Feuerwache, the Junges NTM Hall, and Altes Kino Franklin.
