Wiener Konzerthaus presents the opening programme of its 2026/27 sound:chat subscription in the Berio-Saal, a one-hour piano event designed for curious listeners aged 12 and up. Each concert in the cycle is introduced and guided by host Michael Stark—musician, composer and actor—who creates an informal, talk-friendly atmosphere and connects the pieces to the artist’s musical world. For this opening, the Konzerthaus’s Great Talent Giorgi Gigashvili offers a virtuoso Romantic focus alongside colours and influences from his Georgian background. The format remains consistent across the series: roughly 60 minutes of music and conversation in the hall, followed by a Meet & Greet with the artist. Seating is free choice for this concert, with member presales from 3 August 2026 and public sales from 10 August 2026.
