About this event

The 23 April 2027 performance is part of Dirk Maassen’s Eden Tour, presented by JOLLY ROGER LIVE GmbH. It takes place in the Schubert-Saal of the Wiener Konzerthaus. The evening is a piano concert with special guest Maria Anastasia and her ensemble; Anastasia appears as composer, pianist and violinist. The tour’s artistic concept centres on Maassen’s four-part EDEN project (Awakening, Serenity, The Rift, Exile), a continuous sound journey exploring purity, beauty, and the irrevocable loss of paradise. Selected pieces from Maassen’s catalogue of 200+ works complement the core cycle. The staging is minimalist and intimate: solo piano with chamber ensemble, no orchestra, chorus or scenic elements. Running time is listed as approximately 19:30–22:00. This is a touring production presented in the same format across the 2026/2027 season stops (including Ulm, Hamburg, Munich, Salzburg, Zurich, Vienna).
