About this event
"Roman Borisov, Klavier" is a piano recital within the Wiener Konzerthaus "Mittagsmusik" lunchtime series. The series offers a short-format midday concert: roughly one hour in the Schubert-Saal, paired with a lunch menu from the Konzerthaus restaurant "EssDur" before and after the performance (reservations: +43 1 242 002). On 14 October 2026, pianist Roman Borisov presents a solo program built around three pillars of the piano repertoire: Beethoven’s early C minor Sonata Op. 13 ("Pathétique"), a selection from Leopold Godowsky’s virtuosic "Renaissance" cycle, and Rachmaninoff’s late-Romantic Variations on a Theme of Corelli. Borisov performs solo, without orchestra or accompanists.
