About this event

This event opens the 2026/27 reading cycle "Poetics of Crisis – Poetry of Freedom" at the Wiener Konzerthaus. Sophocles’ Antigone is presented as a German-language reading with live music: Marie-Luise Stockinger and Katharina Lorenz read, while Miriam Adefris accompanies on harp and performs solo pieces. It belongs to the "Music and Poetry at Lunch" and "Music and Poetry in the Evening" series in the Schubert-Saal. Supported by Wienerberger, General Partner of the Wiener Konzerthaus since 1992.
