About this event

Part of the 2026/27 “Matinees of the Vienna Symphony” subscription, this concert marks the Vienna Symphony debut of Italian conductor Riccardo Minasi. The program arcs from German Romanticism (Emilie Mayer) through Viennese Classicism (Mozart) to early Romanticism (Beethoven), showcasing both the orchestra’s symphonic range and a major piano concerto. Cultural journalist Barbara Rett hosts the event. The concert is presented in cooperation between the Vienna Konzerthaus Society and the Vienna Symphony.
