The 19:30 Schubert-Saal concert of 31 October 2026 presents the Lisbon-based DSCH - Shostakovich Ensemble in a programme of three piano-trio masterworks from three eras: Viennese Classicism, High Romanticism, and Russian Modernism. The concert is pure chamber music for piano, violin and cello, performed without conductor by the trio itself. Artistic director Filipe Pinto-Ribeiro (piano), violinist Mario Hossen and cellist Harriet Krijgh form the ensemble for this performance. The venue is the Schubert-Saal of the Wiener Konzerthaus, a hall restored to its 1913 salon character after the 2020/21 refurbishment. Presented by Klangkultur Entertainment GmbH as a guest production within the Konzerthaus 2026/27 season, the concert is marketed through the Konzerthaus box office with four price tiers (EUR 25 / 36 / 45 / 55).
