About this event
A contemporary-music programme in the Mozart Hall of the Wiener Konzerthaus centres on the idea of “Wavering Time,” drawn from Isabel Mundry’s cycle (2006–2009). Framing it are two works by Salvatore Sciarrino: the transparent, wordless “Gesualdo senza parole” (2013) to open, and the baritone-led “Quaderno di strada” (2003) after the interval. Together they create a three-part arc that looks back to the sound worlds of Carlo Gesualdo and Louis Couperin and re-engages them from today’s perspective. Klangforum Wien performs under Sylvain Cambreling, with Otto Katzameier as baritone and Florian Bogner in sound direction. Presented by the Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft in cooperation with the ensemble.
