History of Rock 'n' Roll – The Show is a German touring concert tribute to the pioneers of 1950s and 1960s rock ’n’ roll. Produced by History of Rock’n’Roll – THE SHOW (Harald Färber, Friedberg), frontman and host Bob Dawn leads a seasoned band anchored by bassist Phil X Hanson to perform the biggest hits of Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Bill Haley, Buddy Holly, and Jerry Lee Lewis. The show features authentic arrangements, an expanding on-stage lineup, and German-language hosting between songs. Its dramaturgy takes audiences on a chronological musical journey from intimate rockabilly combos to the “Las Vegas gigantomania” of full band, brass, and backing vocals in the late Elvis style.
