Viktor Bodó directs the National Theatre Prague production of Henrik Ibsen's play. The staging combines grotesque elements and pop-culture references. The house is treated as a central motif and almost as another character. The design places the Tesmans' luxury villa in Holmenkollen on the edge of Oslo, presenting it as both a dream and an object of Hedda's desire. A technologically coded domestic interior replaces a naturalistic period room, creating a cold, laboratory-like space that resembles a smart-home apartment and an isolated bunker. Set design is by Juli Balázs, costumes by Fruzsina Nagy, music by Klaus von Heydenaber, sound design by Gábor Keresztes, adaptation and dramaturgy by Jana Slouková, and translation by František Fröhlich.
