About this event
This production of Il trovatore is a four‑act Romantic opera with music by Giuseppe Verdi and a libretto by Salvatore Cammarano, completed by Leone Emanuele Bardare. The staging is led by Fundación Excelentia’s creative team. Stage direction and sets are by Alejandro Contreras Cortés; movement direction and costumes by Ana Ramos Aguayo; lighting by Chus Fernández; wardrobe by Maribel Martínez; and Spanish surtitles by José Ángel Treviño. The resident orchestra for the production is the Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia. Designed for large‑scale presentation in the Symphonic Hall of the Auditorio Nacional de Música (Madrid), the performance features live audience and Spanish surtitles, in Excelentia’s usual concert/semi‑staged opera format.
