About this event
ProMusica Chamber Orchestra opens its 48th season with Mozart's Great Mass at the Southern Theatre in Columbus, led by Music Director David Danzmayr. The program places Mozart's sparkling Divertimento in D major alongside Max Richter's contemporary On the Nature of Daylight, and culminates with Mozart's monumental Mass in C Minor. ProMusica’s chamber orchestra joins forces with Columbus Choral Artists, the Capital University Chapel Choir, and four vocal soloists for a large-scale symphonic-choral collaboration. The concert is presented in ProMusica’s longtime home, the historic Southern Theatre, and a post-concert Coda conversation invites audiences to meet the artists and explore the evening’s themes.
