Christianssand Storband and Tore Bråthen Celebrate 30 Years is a one-off jubilee concert marking Tore Bråthen’s 30th anniversary as musical director of Christianssand Storband. Since 1996, Bråthen has led the ensemble artistically and musically, and the concert features him both as conductor and as a trumpet soloist. The event is described as a grand, varied, and swinging celebration that reunites current members with alumni returning as guest performers. Staged in Multisalen at Kilden—an intimate, flexible hall with a club-like feel—the concert runs continuously for about 90 minutes in classic big band format.
