Under Åpen Himmel – Med Anne Lindmo & Kilden Vokalensemble – Kilden teater og konserthus, Kristiansand

About this event

Anne Lindmo and the Kilden Vocal Ensemble invite you to an atmospheric evening in the Concert Hall where music, stories, and experiences of nature are woven together—no hiking boots or fitness required. Framed by the four seasons, the program moves from the first light of spring, through summer’s abundance, to autumnal reflection and winter stillness. The musical palette draws on Nordic repertoire from the late 19th century, when landscape, light, and weather shaped both daily life and artistic inspiration. This perspective is mirrored against our present, as nature changes and the boundaries between seasons blur. Between the musical pieces, Anne Lindmo shares personal observations from a lifetime outdoors—in sunshine, rain, and delightfully chaotic weather—about expectations, silence, and why it’s always worth stepping outside. The music is led by Marit Tøndel Bodsberg with piano accompaniment by Runar Nørsett.
