“Les Animaux du Monde” is part of the Opéra de Tours’ “Concerts Bébé” series for babies aged 3 months to 2 years. Designed as a first sensory and instrumental musical experience, these short sessions are given by small forces in the intimate Foyer Maria Callas at the Grand Théâtre de Tours (open seating). A few musicians from the Centre-Val de Loire Regional Orchestra and members of the Opéra de Tours Chorus introduce very young listeners to instrumental and vocal timbres, offering varied, colorful sounds tailored to this audience. The aim is to gently familiarize infants and toddlers with sounds and voices in a calm, attentive setting. The event belongs to the Opéra de Tours 2026–2027 season; within this series, baby tickets (3 months–2 years) are free but required, and adult tickets are €10.
